Planned a 3-day trip to Baguio with my College Friends (January 31- February 2)
If you are planning a Baguio trip, here are some points you need to consider:
- A lounge/ Transient House near the city (Easy access on tourist spots)
- Itinerary (Time is the most important! You need to plan it well)
- Budget (A 3-days, 2-nights budget)
Since it was a looong weekend, my office mates also decided to go to Baguio. We rented a room, 1 for them, and 1 for us (College friends) in a transient house. There are so many transient house that are affordable. So, be wise on choosing one :)
Try MRC Residences. Awesome Accomodation! :)
First Day:
Baguio Cathedral
The famous Baguio Cathedral. Since it was our first visit, we have 3 wishes :)
I fell in love with the structure, as if we are in Barcelona :D
Pink Sister's Convent
I've been to the Pink Sister's Convent in Tagaytay, I was able to compare the place, and I think, the Convent in Tagaytay is bigger than the Baguio Convent, but still, the Nun's voices are the same. They're like Angels that went down from Heaven :)
Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto
200+ Steps! But Super worth it when you reach the top :)
Tam-Awan Village
A village-like spot that has art gallery, and awesome view.
50's Diner
Very affordable and SULIT meals can be found here. Your 100-200 pesos is SULIT. Big servings!! :)
Also, when in Baguio......
You should try the Strawberry Taho! :)
Night Life @ Session Road! :)
When in Baguio, of course, you should try the Session Road Experience!
Korean Resto it is :)
Second Day:
Most people come to Baguio during February because of the Panagbengga Festival. Glad we went here and witness the opening parade :)
Botanical Garden
Flowers everywhere... <3
Experienced to have a picture with the Elders. :)
Wright Park
If you want to try Horse-back riding, you should go to the Wright Park :)
The Mansion
Another Access to the Mansion is thru the Wright Park:)
Since, PNoy is not inside the Mansion, the gates are open :)
Mines View Park
Awesome. Breath-taking view. :)
After spending half of the day with my College friends, I decided to go along with my office mates.
So we went by Camp John Hay and SM Baguio before dinner and strolling around Burnham Park.
Camp John Hay
If you want to have a looong walk, then Camp John Hay is your place :)
Burnham Park @ Night
Awesome Dancing Fountain.
We also tried Biking :)
...And that summarize our weekend Escapade! :)
Reminders:
- Bring clothes that will keep you warm :)
- Be careful especially at night :)
- Loooong lines @ Good Shepherd Convent for Pasalubongs. So bring your patience with you :)
There you go!
Cheers for the awesome weekend! :D
