A Smile in your heart

Do you even notice how many times you smile in a day? Yes or No? That's the question.

I don't know. Siguro pinanganak lang akong ganito. Everytime I meet new people, they often say na nakakapagbigay ng good vibes yung ngiti ko (Uy Kilig!) On a serious note, hindi ko alam. Wala akong idea na yung ngiti ko is nakakapagbigay ng good vibes. I don't have a perfect set ng ngipin. In fact, I am wearing braces.

Sa office, noong bago ako last year,  nag-mid year review kami. Sabi ng manager ko, "keep the smile in your face" raw. At last night naman, sa comedy bar, sabi ng isang comedienne, nakaka good vibes daw kasi. Pero saan nga ba ito nanggagaling? --

Hindi perfect ang buhay ko. Isa akong batang OFW na maagang namulat sa hirap ng buhay. Isang bata na umpisa pa lang ay nangarap na na mabigyan ng magandang buhay ang aking pamilya. -- A normal OFW story kumbaga.

"Let your smile change the world. Don't let the world change your smile". Kaya ako, kahit patuloy na mahirap ang pagdaanan ko, ngingiti pa rin ako ng mula sa puso at sasabihing 'KAYA KO TO'

New Beginnings

It's been a long time since I blogged. I think it was February last year since I last wrote something.

Well, it's been a almost a year after leaving Manila. I went through so many things these past months that I cannot forget, and most especially, there are so many things I've learned along the way.

It's been a year since I left NGA. I was in mixed emotions leaving the company that taught me so many things both on my personal life and to my career. I cannot thank NGA enough for giving me the chance to grow and the chance to be with the best colleagues.

Chap, Gerald, Harold -- My best buddies (Insert Emerson here :p)

Team Cheti-- The best team, ever! (RJ, Kate, Kris, Lar)

NGA's Center of Excellence-- Excellence at it's finest. Headed by Boss D :)

CC Girls-- My loves :) Insert Nowl and koko :)

Thank you, NGA!

Last October, I joined GAVDI here in Dubai, UAE. It was really hard on the first months since I was used to my life in Manila. I experienced how to be independent. How to stand on my own feet. How to live my life afar from my family. Ang hirap maglaba, ha! ;) And so the times gone by, I was used to washing my clothes, cooking my own food, and everything. Lariza came and so as Ate Dids, and it was the start of our happy days! :)

ADVENTURE DIARY: Baguio 2014

Planned a 3-day trip to Baguio with my College Friends (January 31- February 2)

If you are planning a Baguio trip, here are some points you need to consider:
- A lounge/ Transient House near the city (Easy access on tourist spots)
- Itinerary (Time is the most important! You need to plan it well)
- Budget (A 3-days, 2-nights budget)

Since it was a looong weekend, my office mates also decided to go to Baguio. We rented a room, 1 for them, and 1 for us (College friends) in a transient house. There are so many transient house that are affordable. So, be wise on choosing one :)

Try MRC Residences. Awesome Accomodation! :)

First Day:

Baguio Cathedral
The famous Baguio Cathedral. Since it was our first visit, we have 3 wishes :)
I fell in love with the structure, as if we are in Barcelona :D

Pink Sister's Convent
I've been to the Pink Sister's Convent in Tagaytay, I was able to compare the place, and I think, the Convent in Tagaytay is bigger than the Baguio Convent, but still, the Nun's voices are the same. They're like Angels that went down from Heaven :)

Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto
200+ Steps! But Super worth it when you reach the top :)

Tam-Awan Village
A village-like spot that has art gallery, and awesome view.

50's Diner
Very affordable and SULIT meals can be found here. Your 100-200 pesos is SULIT. Big servings!! :)

Also, when in Baguio......
You should try the Strawberry Taho! :)

Night Life @ Session Road! :)
When in Baguio, of course, you should try the Session Road Experience!
Korean Resto it is :)

Second Day:

Most people come to Baguio during February because of the Panagbengga Festival. Glad we went here and witness the opening parade :)

Botanical Garden
Flowers everywhere... <3
Experienced to have a picture with the Elders. :)

Wright Park
If you want to try Horse-back riding, you should go to the Wright Park :)

The Mansion
Another Access to the Mansion is thru the Wright Park:)
Since, PNoy is not inside the Mansion, the gates are open :)

Mines View Park
Awesome. Breath-taking view. :)

After spending half of the day with my College friends, I decided to go along with my office mates.
So we went by Camp John Hay and SM Baguio before dinner and strolling around Burnham Park.

Camp John Hay
If you want to have a looong walk, then Camp John Hay is your place :)

Burnham Park @ Night
Awesome Dancing Fountain.
We also tried Biking :)

...And that summarize our weekend Escapade! :)

Reminders:
- Bring clothes that will keep you warm :)
- Be careful especially at night :)
- Loooong lines @ Good Shepherd Convent for Pasalubongs. So bring your patience with you :)

There you go!
Cheers for the awesome weekend! :D

ADVENTURE DIARY: Sudden MNL Tour

Hooraaay!

Our team mates from KL, Malaysia are here for about 2 weeks. Zeff leaves today and Joyce will be leaving next weekend.

We took a slight tour from Ortigas to MOA to Intramuros to Binondo.

So here are our pictures. I just noticed that I haven't took any photo while we were in intramuros. Hee hee!

After going to MOA, we tour around intramuros. Kinda nose-bleeding job for me today. Hahaha! Then had lunch at Wan Chai Tea House at binondo. See photos below for legit chinese food! Yuuuum!

Until our next adventure! :)
